Ahh, the Holiday season. Christmas commercials filled with happy, generous people buying the perfect gifts for their grateful loved ones. Festively decorated dinner tables featuring cornucopias of turkey and pumpkin pie, then cranberry sauce and duck come Christmas.

For some, the holiday season is a rush of decoration, presents, planning, cooking, and parties. For others, the panic of seeing their family might creep up their spine until the Grinch of years past appears in their dreams to remind them that capitalism sucks.

Diwali, or the Festival of Lights, is coming up quickly on November 12. Hanukkah begins December 7 at nightfall and runs through December 15. Then finally, of course, is New Year's.
