A melting pot of written words.

Third Wheel is a collaboration of authors from all backgrounds. We publish stories in most genres and enjoy working with writers of all levels of experience.

What we’re looking for:

Writers who have something unique to say.

Work we do NOT accept:

• Previously published work (including on Medium).
• Work that hasn’t been proofread for errors.
• AI-generated work (you may use AI images as long as they are cited).
• Any content that is graphic, overly-violent, sexist, racist, etc.

Guidelines for submissions:

1. Follow the publication.
2. Comment on this post with your Medium ID (ex. @thirdwheelpublishing)
3. Submit draft stories only. (Previously published stories will not be approved)
4. Proofread your work and correct errors before submitting.
5. Cite images used in your story.
6. Enable private notes on your draft to be considered.
7. Stories must have a full arc and make sense.
8. We will edit your work as necessary. Comments and questions will be sent in a private message.
9. We work in EST so our schedule might not perfectly align with yours. Please allow us time to review your submissions.

Submission times

Give us up to three days to get back to you about your stories. Times may vary depending on the time of year and how many submissions we get.
