Hi, I’m Devaraj Southworth, the CEO and Co-Founder of Thirstie.

Like any successful young company, Thirstie has gone through numerous transitions over the past few years. We’ve serviced direct-to-consumer, we’ve provided enterprise-level SaaS solutions to multi billion dollar, publicly traded companies, and developed the quickest-to-market turnkey solution for brands of all sizes — a first for e-commerce in our industry. Through these various transitions, our core values have always remained the same.

Thirstie is here to help beverage alcohol brands, distributors, retailers, and of course consumers.

At Thirstie, our singular mission is to democratize the alcohol industry through our innovative and affordable turnkey e-commerce solutions. Thirstie is the only fully-compliant e-commerce technology that gives spirits, wine, ready-to-drink cocktails and beer brands complete control over their consumer interaction through a branded digital end-to-end shopping experience. I’m proud to say we’ve dedicated significant resources in the creation of a robust API solution that brings three-tier compliance to online commerce — in a fully white labeled, supplier branded manner.

This blog is an extension of this mission. We’ll use this workspace as an avenue for sharing company updates, industry innovations, client success stories, and any/everything else Thirstie comes across that we feel will help brands, retailers, and consumers be more successful in the beverage alcohol category. Our objective is to provide regular updates on the state of the industry, and ensure you’re staying ahead of the curve as it relates to the shifting complexities of our highly-regulated industry.

I’ll wrap up this initial post with a quote from Adam Morgan’s publication “Eating Big Fish,” which I believe sums up the opportunity for independent alcohol brands today — “a constraint should be regarded as a stimulus for positive change — and should choose to be used as an impetus to explore something new and arrive at a breakthrough.”

Thirstie is here to democratize an incredibly traditional industry and help beverage alcohol suppliers take full advantage of online commerce in an entirely new way, helping brands of all sizes be successful in a big brand world.

That’s why we’re starting this blog; to continue to help brands, distributors, and retailers of all sizes understand their end consumers, something they haven’t been able to do till now.
