Almost Perfect

A poem

We lived and loved
In a universe of almost.
Passing by each other
Everything almost perfect and
Everything almost possible.

Everything was bare:
Heart, mind, body and soul.
Only to part and become
Perfect strangers
Knowing each other’s secrets.
