There are different part time jobs that international students can do while still studying full time. These jobs help them earn some cash and also understand the work culture in Australia. Some of these jobs include:

  1. On-campus jobs: Many universities and colleges in Australia offer part-time jobs to students on campus, such as working in the library, as a tutor, or in a student center. These jobs can be a convenient option for students as they are usually located on campus and may be flexible around class schedules.
  2. Retail and hospitality jobs: Retail and hospitality businesses, such as restaurants, cafes, and stores, often hire part-time staff. These jobs can be a good way for international students to gain customer service and communication skills.
  3. Tutoring: If you are skilled in a particular subject, you may be able to earn money by tutoring other students. You can advertise your services on campus or through online platforms like Gumtree or Tutor Finder.
  4. Freelancing: If you have a particular skill or talent, such as writing, programming, or graphic design, you may be able to find freelance work online. Platforms like Upwork and Freelancer can connect you with clients who need your services on a part-time basis.
  5. Internships or work experience: Many companies in Australia offer internships or work experience placements to students. These opportunities can provide valuable experience and may lead to full-time employment after you graduate.

It is important to note that international students in Australia are typically limited to working a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight while they are studying. However, there may be opportunities to work additional hours during school breaks or when there is special consideration from the Australian government.
