It is all about creating counterprogramming to his BS reality TV show
If our two political parties were TV shows, the Dems would be a PBS documentary on the Magna Carta, and the GOP would be a hot dog-eating contest between UFC fighters at a Monster Truck show being hosted by bikini models. Which would grab your attention, whether you wanted to pay attention or not? Be honest. Of course, none of us should stoop to the GOP’s level, so what do we do?
Since the 2024 election of Trump, Democrats have been as useless as a solar-powered flashlight, a one-toothed beaver in a petrified forest, or a handbrake on a canoe, with the only clear and consistent exceptions being Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Bernie Sanders.
However, one should flesh out just why AOC and Bernie are perceived as effective. I say it is because AOC and Bernie know how to do “counterprogramming” to the MAGA world’s BS reality TV show. They break through the noise.
