Trump says “We Love Our Seniors!”
Translation: “I’m gonna make you suckers suffer!”
Do you know a senior or disabled person whose home received some repairs and/or upgrades funded by a government program? Has a relative or neighbor had disability access added to their home? We all know or know of someone who’s had a wheelchair ramp or wheelchair accessible kitchen added to their home. It’s fairly common for a neighbor to be receiving Meals On Wheels.
Those agencies exist to help seniors and the disabled stay in their homes and to live with dignity. These programs help us to hold onto what is the only tangible slice of American wealth most of us will ever hold — our home real estate. But, that, like healthcare is a privilege of the wealthy we poor Americans apparently don’t deserve.
We deserve to go bankrupt over medical expenses in their compassionless brains. To these cruel hearted political creatures and dead-soul oligarchs, poor Americans don’t deserve the privilege of healthcare — shut up and die already. Poor Americans also don’t deserve the dignity of home and hearth. How dare we hold onto something of value they don’t already own?
