Trump Wanted War With Iran

Iranian-Americans have long known Trump wants Iran bombed out of existence — Israel is happy to oblige

Maybe it’s not entirely fair to say Israel’s “unilateral” attack was “unprovoked.” While it is true that Iran has long been a thorn in Israel’s collective side, the country did not directly provoke this attack. Still, some will find justification in Iran’s support of proxies in the region. Neither is it a fair assessment in my estimation that Israel launching a war against Iran was “unilateral.”

Even Israel said the Trump regime knew in advance.

I’m not saying Iran is wholly innocent. However, Iran has only ever attacked Israel in response to attacks FROM Israel. This war is a brutal escalation entirely on Israel’s part. They can call it “preemptive — but they don’t seem able to prove their case. And, the hypocrisy on Iran’s unproven nuclear weapons aims is especially galling in the wake of Israel’s near total annihilation of Gaza.

When he was asked he’d been informed ahead of time by Israeli officials, Trump said, “They didn’t tell me anything, but I said look, there’s a chance of massive conflict.” The attack he claims he wasn’t told was coming…
