I Love You More

This may be cliche but this is how I end my night, every night.
I say “I love you”
He says “I love you too”
I say “I love you more”
Followed by an “mhmm” or “uh-uh”
The odd time, he’ll say “I love you more”, and I have to think, I don’t know how you possibly could love me more than I love you.
I don’t know what I’d do without him, sure we have our moments, but he’s the only one who’s truly ever understood me, the only one that I can imagine being with, growing old with, having kids with, being with day and night.
