This is wonderful!

My step siblings are incredibly competitive. It’s not possible to say something nice about someone without an ulterior motive.

My car is nicer. Well my house is nice. My husband is nicer. My house is cleaner. I work more. I’m a better cook. I have more money in the bank.

And then there’s me. Hardly anything in the bank, but I’m happier than they are, or happier than they pretend to be.
