How many spills is enough

I’m resistant to the whole keurig way of making coffee, because I like extra extra strong hot coffee. Today I just made a nice little mess when my Melita filtered coffee when kaput all over my nice clean kitchen. 20 minutes later I’m still finding grinds everywhere.

I like being able to judge the amount of coffee I make. One cup at a time seems so controlled.

Yet, how many spills does it take?
