Rejections Incoming!

Writers, you probably know rejection intimately, but did you know there was an etiquette to submittal rejections that might even up your future prospects?

I have experienced most of these forms of rejection, and have even responded to them in kind with the post linked below. I even had a pissing match with one editor, each of us slandering the other, I vowing not to ever submit to him again. That proved tough to do, though — he moved around a lot. Big surprise.
