To End The Summer
Kepco Ilijan Family Day
Friday. We were in Bus Number 1. Around 8 AM and we trooped to the famous Splash Island in Laguna for our annual Family Day. Five years ago we were at the same resort for the same activity.
Most of my officemates have their own family. They had with them their own children and even their extended family to enjoy the sun and the scenery of the beautiful Splash Island. Actually it was not an island just a resort with many swimming pools and slides.

My nephews just got out and plunged into the water. Such a wonderful swimming pool of Splash.

Some of the officemates were busy making those poses for Facebook.

I did not see this one because we were busy indulging ourselves in the Balsa River -a pool which was like a river running the whole of the Splash Island. My nephews also were busy riding those slides. Thanks to Sir Arnold Manalo I have got this photo from his Facebook.

This zipline was an additional attraction in this summer destination. Honestly I never tried it once. Maybe today in Tagaytay we can do that ziplines.

There was also this canopy walk. You must have that great balance to ride that walk above the nipa hut.

This year’s Family Day was one of the happiest one I’ve ever had in my nearly seven years of stay in my beloved company. And we are looking forward for next year’s event.
