You can React but it’s Useless
Listen to your body Listen to your mind
There are some days when you wake up early in the morning — storm through lots of work during the hours– and at the end of the day you get a feeling of achievement, satisfaction, happiness. For many of us — including me too — that’s a day of exception. Generally my days (and many of yours too) are full with lots of small ‘urgent’ tasks — can be defined on the verge of emergency — where procrastination makes thing tough to deal with. And I go to bed at night with having a feeling that the whole day has just slipped through my fingers — like sands. I tried hard to hold but it simply ran away from my hand.

Or a fist full of water inside the sea — as I take my hand out — it’s “empty”.
But incredibly I can feel sand or water droplets for some time in my empty hand after that failed attempt.

Our ‘reactionary’ nature is behind of all this. If you put a little care to look at your own behavior — you can find support of this argument. As soon as a task comes up — we simply start to react in a knee-jerk way. Result — we completely burn out in dealing with fairly low-priority tasks. And this tiredness left us with a feeling like — the whole day is running away quickly from us. At the end of the day my hand is simply empty — no achievement — nothing at all — except a heavy heart and a pair of tearful eyes.
More experts — more views on what’s the reason — how to turn an unproductive day into a productive one and many more. As per my understanding the best choice to deal with this kind of situation is — listen to your body — listen to your mind. After all it’s you who is the sufferer and it’s you too who is also behind this mess.
Cure lies within the cause of a disease.
The simple rule of living a life is — don’t take it seriously — lets all and sundry things come into your way. Just don’t react and not at all in haste. It’s the most simple solution though the toughest one. While sensing that your day is passing away as a meaningless one and without any purpose — just STOP doing things — cut yourself out from your immediate world — for few moments — say five minutes. Again listen to your body — listen to your mind. Think what’s going wrong. Ask yourself whether you are on track or not.
solution emerges by asking the right question to the right person.
Choose one important project or task at a time that you want to get done, something that will give your day a sense of meaning and purpose. Let everything else slide, say for an hour, and spend that time focusing on your that one important thing. If you asked me — I really do struggle to concentrate on a particular task and more on this — sometimes, for me, it’s hard to find just one hour to devote to something truly important. Challenge yourself continuously to squeeze in as much productive work as you can. And at the end of the day spend a few minutes to review. Most important thing — don’t waste time and energy feeling guilty if you get a negative answer from that review. There’s really nothing wrong with making mistakes — these are some great learning opportunities — packed with chances to eliminate methods of working that aren’t helpful to you (and to me too). Negative is not negative when others tell you, its negative when you think about your negative with tired mind, sometimes your positive feelings also looks negative to you, when your body and mind is deaf and dumb towards your feeling and satisfaction.
We all do have a natural way to tackle issues naturally. And it’s the best way to do things. That’s why my suggestion is — listen to your body — listen to your mind and turn up your unproductive day into a productive one in your own way.
