Late in 2019, I announced on Talking Shop with Andy Polaine, Adrienne Tan and Dr. John Curran that one of the exciting new initiatives that This is HCD was working on for 2020, was focussing on enabling our global audience to connect to form deeper relationships with one and another and connect over the common goal of ‘doing good’ through opening local chapters in cities around the world.

One of the first emails I received was from the wonderful Megan McDonald in Melbourne and after a few conversations, I am beyond thrilled to announce Megan as Chapter Lead for Melbourne city.

“When I heard about the new initiatives of opening chapters, I knew it would be an incredible opportunity for not only me but for the design, business and product communities of Melbourne — to come together around the common topic of human-centeredness. I’m so excited to kick this off!”
- Megan McDonald — This is HCD Melbourne, Chapter Lead
