Flamenco and sounds of the Spanish guitar fill the air in one of Valencia’s intimate venues.

The scene from inside Cafe del Duende. The Cafe is packed every weekend for the spectacular and authentic Spanish Flamenco shows. For just 10 Euros you can watch more than an hour of dance and enjoy a beverage of your choice.

The vocalist and gutarist were not the center of atention but their music filled the cafe. Tomás de los Cariño’s voice is incredible. It’s low and rough yet has a smooth velvity sound as it bounces around the walls of the small cafe. Juan de Pilar, the guitar player has extreamly quick fingers. Each chord he plays lingers for just long enough before being chased off by another equally beautiful and rich group of notes.

Ana Titran, a Flamenco Dancer from Valencia Spain Performing her solo dance at Cafe Del Dunde. Ana dances at multiple Flamenco Tablaos across Valencia and other cities in Spain.

Sandra Ruíz, the second female dancer I photographed incorporated a beautiful white shawl into her routine. The shawl created amazing visual motion as it swept around the room. The movements of the white fabric were so visually enticing that the crowd seemed unable to look away. Their eyes were fixed on her, refusing to blink. Truly beautiful.

The room was silent until the final clap rang across the crowd. Then all you could hear was the deafening sound of clapping and cheering.
