Discovering TMA2

--

First up, let me warn you. We’ve decided to use Medium a tad more often, and try to give those interested a peak under the hood of Magic People Voodoo People. That means that from time to time, we’ll give you updates on projects, collaborations and experiments from the North West of Copenhagen.

We hope you’ll enjoy them, and we promise to try and keep everything fairly down to earth. After all, we’re not curing cancer or resolving conflicts in the Middle East.

AIAIAI x Spotify

The first project we want to highlight, is a nifty little thing we did with the good people from AIAIAI. Following the launch of their awesome TMA2 — a modular headphone system — and the completely redesigned platform that came along with it, AIAIAI wanted to engage users and help them decide on a headphone configuration that is just right.
And what better way to do that, than to draw on your personal musical preference?

The project — in all it’s simplicity — allows users to connect AIAIAI.dk to their Spotify weekly playlist. It then analyses their taste in music from a series of different parametres (genre, tempo and moods), to come up with a configuration that fits.

Throughout the experience, users can explore the basis for each step, and listen to the individual tracks. Once the TMA2 is assembled, you can tweak it to your personal preference, in terms of headband, earpads and cables.

Neat, right?

Have a look for yourself, and see exactly which TMA2 is right for you.
