Mai Bhago was known as a brave and courageous Sikh Soldier who fought against the Mughals in 1705. She was blessed with adept skills to kill enemies on the battlefield.

In Sikhism, she has been given an enthronement of a true saint and a leader.

At Takht Anandpur Sahib (one of the most sacred places of Sikhs in India) 40 Sikhs left Guru Gobind Singh Ji (the tenth guru of Sikhs) and she was the one who got them back for the war. They feared their life and cared for their family members. Mai Bhago (Her full name was Mata Bhag Kaur) didn’t hesitate and took the command in her hands of making them realize what a true disciple to their Guru is.
