“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”

― W.B. Yeats

This Unexplained Life is a new publication dedicated to sharing true but unusual events happening in our lives.

Obviously, weird stuff happens.

It happens to us all.

Afterwards, we create our explanations — sometimes weirder still — then go about our daily grind.

That’s okay, I guess.

What else can we do?

Well, we can cough them up, so to speak.

I know we’re ambivalent about sharing.

We want others to know something weird occurred, but we also want them to believe our explanation.

They accept our little story, but they rarely accept our explanation.

When weird stuff happens, your explanation is truer than any alternatives offered up by friends.

And you know what they are thinking.

It’s all in their little smirks.

Your reluctance for true confession is understandable.

But, if held inside too long, such tales come back to haunt you.

They return … and not always in a good way.

So, I shall start first.

Headfirst into the fray, so to speak.

After that, I’m coming for you …
