According to Box Office Mojo, Makoto Shinkai’s your name. earned an estimated $627,208 (USD) in its first day in theaters in the United States and Canada this past Friday. The film was shown in 292 theaters, with each theater earning $2,148, on average — which is a higher theater average than any other film in the top 12.
