Writing on the Dark Side: Submission Guidelines for Thorn Path Lit

Welcome to Thorn Path Lit, where we delve into raw, unflinching stories that confront life’s darker corners. This is a space for literature that examines the occult, death, paranormal encounters, fears, obsessions, morality, dystopias, and the grit of realism. We want work that challenges, unsettles, and provokes thought — pieces that tackle what’s often left unsaid.

While we encourage exploring heavy themes, we do not accept content depicting violence, particularly of a sexual nature. Out of respect for this boundary, true crime submissions will not be considered. Though we appreciate the craft of true crime writing, it inherently involves descriptions of violence, which falls outside the scope of our publication.
