Dear Thortspace … I’m interested in the Academic discount available on subscriptions

First of all, check out this page:

The suggestion / proposal is roughly this:

1. include an http URL link to Thortspace.com in an article or blog post or even just a directory page on the website of your institution.

e.g. Note the link to Thortspace on this page:

https://www.doc.ic.ac.uk/~kgk/projects/

What they have done here is ok, but it would help more if a significant feature of Thortspace was included in the link text, not just “Thortspace” such as “Thortspace Mindmap” or “Thortspace Problem Solving” or “Thortspace for Education”

2. Tell me what that page is in an email sent from an email address of the domain of you

e.g. MyName@MyUniversity.ac.uk

3. I will send you a discount code that you can share with all your colleagues. The code will initially work for the first 100 accounts that want to use it. If you need more accounts than that we can extend it.

4. When someone from your university subscribes to Thortspace, they just type the discount code into the discount code box on this page:

(where it says “coupon code” in the graphic)

Note: you will need to be logged into Thortspace.com with the same credentials you use in the Thortspace App for the page linked above to be accessible.
