Dear Thortspace … my App is stuck in Full Screen mode
Currently my desktop installation loads as a full screen. How can I configure the properties to load TS within a window ?
There is a command on the main sphere menu called “Toggle Fullscreen”.
If you want the Thortspace App to permanently open in Full Screen mode instead of Windowed mode, there is a settings in the setting panel which can be set to determine this. (The “Toggle Fullscreen” menu item still works when this setting is set.)
If your Thortspace App is always opening in Fullscreen, and you don’t want it to, make sure that this setting has not been inadvertently set.
Beware ! If you have a Windows 10 device that allows you to switch between “Tablet mode” and “Desktop mode”, the Settings dialog option to “Open in Full Screen” shown in the graphic above will only appear and only be available in the dialog when you are in “Desktop mode”. If you don’t see the “Open in Full Screen” option in your settings dialog, have a check to see that you haven’t inadvertently set your device into “Tablet Mode” either permanently or temporarily.
If the above procedures don’t work as you would expect them to, or you have any other problems with switching between Fullscreen and Windowed modes, or correctly starting in Fullscreen or Windowed modes please let us know.
