(15) How to … take advantage of Copy and Paste in Thortspace
To select a single thort, click on it.
To add additional thorts to the current set of selected thorts, hold down the Control key (Windows) or the Command key (Mac) while you are clicking on thorts.
To select a whole group, click on the area around the thorts.
To get a Selection Marquee, hold down the Shift key and start dragging on the sphere surface …
… or choose SelectionMarquee from the Edit menu.
To select all the thorts on the current sphere, choose Select All from the Edit menu, or the Control-A keyboard shortcut.
To deselect all selected thorts, right-click the sphere surface or press the Escape key on the keyboard.
Once you have one or more thorts selected you can copy them by choosing Copy Thorts from the Edit menu and then Paste Thorts from the Edit menu.
… Or you can use the Control-C Control-V keyboard shortcuts.
A set of selected thorts can be copied to another sphere in the same way.
Select the thorts you want to copy. Choose Edit and Copy Thorts. Then go to the target sphere and choose Paste Thorts.
A group can be split apart by selecting some of the thorts and dragging them away from the rest of the group.
