Thortspace desktop versions (Windows, Mac, Linux) support a variety of drag-and-drop operations:
You can drag-and-drop a list of items from a text document or webpage.
You can drag-and-drop a picture from your computer desktop or folder.
In some cases you can also drag-and-drop a picture directly from a webpage into Thortspace, but this does depend on the design of the particular webpage and website that a picture is being dragged from.
You can drag-and-drop a URL from the address line of the browser…
… or with some browsers and web-pages you can drag a link from a page.
Drop the URL on the sphere for a new thort.
Drop the URL on an existing thort to apply the link to that thort.
