Here’s my secret weapon: I’m different

I’m not you. And you’re not me.

I’m not Mark Zuckerberg. And he’s not me.

You’re not Bill Gates. And Bill Gates is not you.

The truth is that we’re all different.

And what works for me will most likely not work for you.

Still, we all behave as if we’re all alike.

We behave as if doing what some people out there are doing will make us happy. Or successful. Or whatever.

The truth is that doing things that make others happy will most likely not make you happy.

Getting up at 4am in the morning will most likely not make you any more productive. And instead it might turn you into an unproductive zombie.

Climbing up someone else’s ladder for your entire life only to realize that you don’t really care about that ladder once you reached the top of it is a waste of time. A waste of lifetime.

Don’t try to be like everybody else. Be yourself instead. Be different. Find out what works for you and what doesn’t.

And then go all in on being yourself, leverage your strengths and figure out what leads to a life you’ll look back at one day and feel like it was a life worth lived.

A life where you don’t need a second round…
