I deserve this…

I deserve to get noticed.

I deserve to get a raise.

I deserve a better life.

I deserve a better job.

I deserve…

Even though this might be true, so do millions of other people.

But if you don’t put in the work, if you think you deserve something, all you’d basically do is to outsource responsibility.

You’d outsource responsibility and wait for things to happen without ever doing anything for it.

But things never happen just like that..

When you outsource responsibility to your past, your circumstances, your employer, your parents, society or whatever it puts you off the hook.

And it puts someone or something else on the hook.

No matter if it’s true or not.

You’re not responsible anymore.

And when you’re not responsible anymore (no matter if it’s true or not) you can’t change anything about your situation anymore.

The biggest problem about outsourcing responsibility to someone or something else is that you don’t have control over it.

You don’t have control over someone else.

You don’t have control over your past.

And if you outsource your responsibility to someone or something else you don’t have control over, then you will never be able to change anything.

All you can do is wait…

Wait for things to happen.

Wait for things to fall into place.

Without ever really doing anything.

So stop waiting.

Stop outsourcing responsibility.

Forget about the things you deserve.

And instead put yourself back on the hook.

Don’t waste any more of your time waiting for the things you deserve.

And instead go out there and start working on getting them…
