a wishing well is full of change
pennies worth millions their values so high
a special coin lies within the well
a coin for a boy who wished not to die
the penny to him was more than just change
he wished it down the well

— the well’s water drowning his heart —

every day he pondered within the wells range
‘of all of life’s horrors, why was i born with aids?’
a wishing well is full of change
pennies worth millions their values so high
a special coin lies within the well
a coin for a girl who wished not to die
the penny to her was more than just change
she wished it down the well…
with a will to change
one day on the way to a well
a boy passed a girl and asked, ‘’for what in the world makes you wish
not to die?”

‘’i’m addicted’’, she says, ‘’i’m barely alive’’

a boy asked a girl to trade their diseases

a girl raised her head and never again cried
