Albany’s Creek
Words of True North
Observations from summer days
Albany’s Creek, my memories bloom,
Warmer days and laughter, dispel all gloom.
Less clothes and more swimming, the sun on our skin,
Golden moments cherished, in the place life begins.
The pond rippling gently, a mirror of the sky,
Reflecting our joy as the days pass by.
Laughter echoing through the lush green trees,
We found solace and peace in moments like these.
Friends gathered ‘round, hearts light as a feather,
In Albany’s Creek, we’d play together.
Swimming and splashing, carefree and wild,
Creating memories that forever will be compiled.
Time has passed, like ripples in the pond,
But the warmth of those days last deeper than beyond.
Albany’s Creek holds our secrets deep,
Where warmer times and memories sleep.
Among the rocks, where insects roam,
Nature’s orchestra, a familiar home.
Bugs buzzing softly by the stream’s edge,
Their presence a part of a timeless pledge.
The fragrance of earth, mingled with the breeze,
Carrying whispers of nostalgic ease.
Sunlight dappling through the canopy above,
As we basked in the warmth, feeling nature’s love.
Acknowledging flies in their erratic flight,
Dancing around us in the golden light.
Their buzzing hums a symphony in the air,
Adding to the gallery of sensations rare.
The smells, the feels, sensational so dear,
In Albany’s Creek, where time disappears.
Each moment etched like a stone in the stream,
A collection of memories, a cherished dream.
Looking onward to warmer days in numerous ways
Thank you very much for reading! ❤️
Best,
