Conquer Your Morning By Waking Up At Brahma Muhurta!

Majority of us find it difficult to wake up early morning on right time and avoid the rush to work. Given the lifestyle that we follow today, it is convenient to say that most of us could easily pull an all-nighter than wake up early in the morning.

Early mornings give us an opportunity to have some time with ourselves before we go about to fulfil our personal and professional commitments through out the day. The calm & soothing atmosphere at dawn and our re-energized minds after a good sleep are a perfect combination to begin our day. We can set our intention and prepare before hand for all that we plan to accomplish throughout the day.

Brahma Muhurta is the time around 90 minutes before sunrise(usually between 3:30 a.m. — 5:30 a.m.). The term ‘ Brahma Muhurta’ literally translates to ‘The Creator’s hour’. This is known as the Golden period that one can utilize to create their day as they want it to be and hence conquer the day and ultimately, their life.

As per Ayurveda, Brahma Muhurta is the best time to meditate and waking up at this time helps to reap some amazing health benefits as well. It boosts immunity, increases energy levels, and helps maintain the blood pH level. There has been some scientific research in this area which suggests that there is high production of melatonin, a natural mood stabilizer, in our body during Brahma Muhurta which helps us be at utmost ease and peace. Getting up at this time gives us access to an atmosphere that is least polluted and is filled with fresh air and tranquility. Our concentration levels are also at peak during this time given the presence of minimum distractions and the hush & serene surroundings.

  1. Making our bed — It gives us a sense of having accomplished the first task task of our day.
  2. Having a lots of water — Helps to flush out toxins.
  3. Meditation-even if it is for 10 minutes.
  4. Eating a Healthy Breakfast
  5. Journaling/Manifesting
  6. Reading a book
  7. Work out/ Going for a walk
  8. Prepare a to-do list for the day
