The dark doesn’t scare you anymore

There was a time when it did

When you were afraid to sleep in it

But now it seems like a peaceful place

All those creatures living under your bed

The ones that made you hide yourself

You wait for them now every night

To let them know of all the things

The ones that became a part of you

And the only ones who know you well.
