Greetings! My name is Emily and I am a 22-year-old college student! I study English with a teaching certification and plan to be finished by May 2023! I am originally from Louisiana, but have been residing in Texas due to COVID.
I recently joined Medium because I love writing and am quite frankly bored. I also have been enjoying interacting with other writers and look forward to continuing that.
A *not so* fun fact about me is I have Congenital Heart Disease. TOF-Pulmonary Atresia with VSD, which are a bunch of fancy words for both of my pulmonary valves didn’t RSVP to the party and I have been forced to have 6 heart surgeries because of it. Pft...organs.
Anywho, so, yeah! I am just here to write about life, CHD, education, and whatever else pops into my mind. I have somehow posted a lot of poems. So, if that interests you, feel free to check it out!
