The legendary creator of marvel and all its wonders Stan Lee

As I sat on the couch watching the avenger's movie with my wife a sad sob broke out. I asked my wife what was wrong. Tears running down her face she answered “marvel will never be the same. Stan Lee was my hero. He normally plays a small role in all his Creations…. But we won't see him anymore. Even the movies are different.” I couldn’t help but to tear up myself. After all Stan Lee gave us what everyone in this world want’s… A hero. To be a hero. To be lost in a world where everything is ok.

The man wasn't just a writer, creator, or actor. He gave his fans hope, another worldly dimension for us to be engulfed in. He wanted to change the world through his works. In a world of corruption, crime, hate, and division he was a light to his fans. Many of his fans took a very sad approach when he passed. So many could resonate with his characters. Especially his LGBTQ and other homosexual or even fans who grew up being bullied or lived normal lives. Like the x-men many are or were bullied, considered out casts, some even wanting to be like him a hero to the world in their own way. But maybe… Just maybe that's what our hero Stan was trying to do… Stan once said

“And if my books and my stories can change that, can make people realize that everybody should be equal, and treated that way, then I think it would be a better world,” the writer said.

Like I said before, this man was more than just a creator… He was a hero trying to change the world from his works and creativeness. Stan Lees legacy can live on through us. I believe he wanted to show we could all be heroes in this dark age. Even the smallest act of kindness can change someone's life. Stan once said “There must always be those with fire in their blood! There must always be those that will dare to fight the unbeatable enemy! Only thus can the race of man remain strong and fearless!”

So, in closing I believe Stan Lee is still with us. So long as we can take his message and become our very own heroes in this life. Make his legacy live on within us. Every day strive to be the change we want to see. You don't have to be spider man or superman. You see a single mom struggling to buy food pitch in. See that little girl with holes in her clothes, maybe surprise her with a outfit. The governments of this world with their corruptness, cops, judges, or state workers abusing their powers say something about it. See someone being bullied, beaten or having a rough day stick up for them, show your love and friendships. We can all be heroes, but what kind of hero will you be?

I write this in loving memory of Stan Lee. May your creations and wisdom live on through your fans. RIP Stan.
