Money, Sex, and Power
These three combined are the most powerful things in the Universe. This is my humble opinion.
Let’s jump in …..
If you look at politics, Money runs everything, Men are in the top echelon while women are clawing their way to the top. If you have these two, you can be the most popular person wherever you go.
Having power comes with great responsibility but most people of power serve their own purpose, selfishly.
Turn on the TV and you will see politicians lie to their bones to get more investors to invest in their power. In return, the man in power will grant whatever wishes the investors’ may soon desire.
You get a pass, you get a pass, and you get a pass…….
Of course, NOT all politicians are bad, just like NOT all cops are bad. But it only takes one sliver of opportunity, good or bad, to fulfill their so-called destiny.
Think about the term before this presidency, I bet he thinks that he is doing everything in his power to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, but were we, ever? He probably thinks too that he is the good guy, who will raise America higher than the rest of the other prominent world leaders. But was it a self-fulfilling prophecy, perhaps.
Let’s not kid ourselves, other world leaders find him “not fit”, but his supporters are obviously brandishing him as their savior.
A savior for what you might ask?
Let’s rewind from the very start. He was someone from the business side. He was never in the public sector, who earned his degree in politics of some sort or is smart enough to be in it. He was an embarrassment, wasn’t eloquent on his speech, wasn’t intelligent (at all), he wasn’t like the other candidate who came before him. But his demeanor touched a lot of regular Americans, what kind, I do not know.
Most saw this as an opportunity of POWER. He has his supposed money, he has the right sex in the game, an old white man. And most importantly, he saw this as an opportunity to interject Christian faith into the mix, he’s supposedly god-fearing human being. And the façade worked!!!
Once the foundation of America is “in GOD we trust’’, it’s just so fitting that these words touched a lot of the American people, and powerful individuals. But this was an opportunity waiting to be exploited.
Politics runs on favors, and the higher you are on the echelon, you can openly use it. And you will find yourself not guilty on all charges. Whatever else money + sex and power can do for you, EVERYTHING!!!
