The 14th of August is neither an ordinary number nor a frequent date, but it is an emotional number.

Our emotions are tied to August 14th, and anytime we hear about it, every ordinary person shouts Pakistan Zindabad, Pakistan Paindabad ( long live Pakistan).

The new Dominion of Pakistan gained independence on August 14, 1947.

TODAY IN HISTORY on August 14, 1947, India and Pakistan gained independence from the long-awaited British rule, which had lasted 200 years.

Pakistan’s formation is a remarkable and one-of-a-kind event in contemporary history.

Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh were formerly part of a single vast area known as the Indian subcontinent.

In 1933, the term “Pakistan” first appeared in a pamphlet titled “Now or Never.”

Mountbatten’s plan was accepted by both India’s Congress and the Muslim League. The British parliament passed the Indian Independence Act in July 1947. On August 15, 1947, the Indian Independence Act established two nations, India and Pakistan. The two countries were formed at the stroke of midnight on the 14th.

But our emotions are similar to those of two lost siblings, like in (Sikh Brother, Muslim Sister: Siblings Separated in 1947 Meet Again), (Split by Partition, met in 2022: Story of Saqib and Seekha brothers’ reunion that’s making India-Pakistan cry), and many other such emotional stories. We have homes and land scattered here and there, so we are emotionally connected.

Facts:

The first national name of Pakistan was, “Dominion of Pakistan.”

The First Head of the State was Non-Pakistani George VI Albert Fredrick Arthur George.

It is true it was the 27th of Ramadan on the Day of Independence

Pakistan and India Both Were Created in the Name of Two Separate Religious Nations.

I am quite sure both Indian and Pakistani parents are troubled by this particular issue on the independent day which we Called “Bajja” poon poon all our the air.

Happy Independence Day to all. J
