My short bio states that I’m A Researcher, an Ultra Runner, a Writer, and an Experimenter — I will expand on this in the following article.

I call myself a researcher for a few reasons: First, my day job is doing research in the field of Geriatrics, our mission is to create an enjoyable nursing home experience for the elderly through the use of technology. Second, I have a Master’s in Experimental Psychology. Lastly, I like to research the topics I write about.

I’m an Ultra-Runner, or at least I’m trying to be one — ran over 50k a few times — competitively. An Ultra-Runner is someone who runs longer than the standard marathon (26.2 miles). I started running three years ago as a form of meditation, but recently I began to compete and I even placed in a few events, nothing major yet. I haven’t written any articles on running yet but they’re in the thought queue — I have a few in draft form. My interests lie within the Human Potential realm — what can we endure and/or how far can we go — as well as our body’s efficiency (cost-effectiveness and its capabilities). I do a lot of research in this area and then I self Experiment. I even started a YouTube channel called Carefree Running where I try to share my knowledge about running, still a work in progress — I need lots of practice with being in front of the camera as you can probably tell from the link above.

As a writer, I write, and I try to write as much as I can.

Lastly, as an Experimenter, I like to experiment on myself, in the field of the Human Condition. I try different meditations, routines, diets, and exercises — that’s all that I can think of right now, but I’m sure there’s more.

So this is who I am. Follow me and subscribe to my content if you like what you see.
