Annnnnnd Mommy’s Out!

Yessireebob! Mommy got out of the hospital today. Her urination became regular the past two days or so, and the liquid in her lungs cleared up enough for her to get clearance to go home today. She would’ve gotten out sooner if Billing weren’t so goddamned sucky. I mean, we’d already gotten the green light from the four doctors by 10am this morning, and we only got our final bill by 7:30pm! That’s what, 9 hours waiting time for a friggin bill?

I had to give them a piece of my mind, and sad to say, I used my own Mom — who is a doctor at the hospital — to call up Billing and give them an earful. And not five minutes after, viola! we got our bill!

We paid up, and we were off!

Thank God for small miracles. One could argue that the healing sessions with Carlo and Harry and Rustan, and my own juju had something to do with it, but you could just as easily argue the efficacy of all of our prayers — or even of the attending physicians! Maybe its all of them combined? Hell, I’ll take what I can! I’m just glad Mommy’s home now.

She still has a few checkups and a dialysis session tomorrow though; nobody else is available, so I’m driving her to the hospital. After this, hopefully, she only has to have dialysis twice a week.

Everyone’s breathing easy, at least for now.
