As Community Manager of the recently-announced Thread Protocol, I’m excited to share our partnership with CoinList. CoinList will be the exclusive partner to facilitate regulatory compliance checks and measures supporting the private phase of Thread’s now-active token offering.

What’s CoinList

CoinList provides financial services for the next generation of technology companies. Specifically they’ve worked to develop an audited, bank-grade compliance process, performing KYC due diligence, and investor accreditation. The CoinList infrastructure has been used to handle over $850 million in investments and they’ve had major success with supporting token sales in a secure way.

Why we’re working together

CoinList has set a high bar for the partners they work with and with our shared goal to champion regulatory compliance, we’re proud to be working with them. Our decision to work together comes down to three key areas:

Thread cares about regulatory compliance.

We pride ourselves in being stewards of fully-compliant, regulated token offerings. Now more than ever, it’s important to do things the right way, not the easy way. This comes back to providing real value to supporters, users, partners and investors. This is critical to the longevity of our product, team and protocol’s health.

CoinList comes from a top-pedigree team.

With top talent from AngelList and Republic, the CoinList team knows how to build best-in-breed technology solutions to address real-world problems.

Proven record of success.

The CoinList infrastructure has supported over $400M in investments for over 20 token sales just since August 2017.

What’s next?

Thread is now in it’s private pre-sale phase with CoinList’s support. We’re looking forward to growing this relationship and having their robust contributions as we work towards powering a smarter, connected freelancer ecosystem.

We’ll keep you updated as important sale dates approach in real time through the Thread Telegram group (join here!). Please invite friends who might be interested in the Thread token distribution event to join, so our community can continue to grow and spread the value of what we’re enthusiastically creating with Thread Protocol.

Thank you in advance for all of your continued support!
