Awaken Your Creative Spirit

I’m very excited and nervous at the same time to share this news with you. When I started this creative journey, I had no idea, it will lead me here. Over the years, as I’ve shared my love for creating and the challenges I’ve faced and how I overcame them. I’ve heard from many of you.

You’ve told me about your struggles, your fears, and how you often find yourself stuck. You’ve shared with me your joys and so much more. And I’ve shared with you my strategies for dealing with these challenges and how I make myself move forward even when I’m tempted to stay stuck.

But more importantly, you’ve asked me over and over again to teach you how you can do this for yourself. How to tune in to your creative spirit so that you can experience the joys of living your own personal creative life.

Because that’s exactly what I want for you, I heard you and I listened. That’s what these emails, blog posts, videos, and eBooks have all been about: To get you to a place where your life will be positively impacted by using your creative skills.

So, coming very soon, I’m going to take it a notch higher. I’m going to provide you with specific tools to help you achieve that goal. I’ll be launching a course to teach you how to awaken your creativity, connect with your inner artist and live a life of more joy.

I’m so excited about this adventure I’ll be embarking on with you.

Many of us get caught up in the myth of creativity. I too for a long time was caught up in it. Our culture idolizes creativity and assigns a status to it that is out of the reach of most people. So it’s no surprise that most of us end up thinking of ourselves as not very creative.

Even if we were audacious to think that we’re just a little teeny bit creative, we conclude that we’re not creative enough to make anything meaningful, significant or impactful.

Busting the Myths

All of which is a total lie.

It’s a lie that has preyed on the minds of too many people. No one is born with a matured creativity tree inside of them. So that when they show up we immediately see the fruits of their creativity tree blossom. What we all get are seeds of creativity. Some people nurture their creative seeds into amazing displays of creativity, giving off flowers and new seeds to spark off more creativity. While at the same time they’re pruning, grafting and caring for their creativity trees to ensure longevity.

On the other hand, while some of us completely dismiss our creative abilities, some wonder if that little pull on their creative heartstrings will amount to anything. Stop debating on whether you should pursue your own creative joy or if you should settle for watching the magnificent displays by people doing exactly what you wished you could do.

I wasted so many years before I learned this great lesson,

What you do with the creative seed inside of you is what determines the outward display of your creative abilities.

Since then, I’ve not looked back. What will you do with your own creative seed inside of you? Will you give it a chance to see the light of day? Or will you let it go to waste, or worse let it die an untimely death?
