I have been fortunate to have gone to some really epic shows over several decades. It is hard to narrow them down and even remember them all — but here are five of the best.

Bryan Adams, Kitchener ON 2022 — This show is the most recent bigger concert I have seen and it stands out for a few reasons. First off, in 2022 restrictions from covid had recently been fully lifted, so it felt great to be seeing a live performance again at this size of venue (around 7,000 people). It was also a great night connecting with old friends. And finally, it is always great to see a veteran performer that you grew up listening to way back in the 80s and 90s! His performance was energetic and personable and it was so fun singing along to his many great hits.

Glorious Sons, San Diego 2020 — This awesome Canadian rock/ alternative band played a memorable show at a small venue in downtown San Diego called the Music Box. It was fun to travel to see a great California city and take in a show! Little did I realize a month later Covid would hit and live shows would be impossible to see for a while. It was great to see the band up close and personal with the crowd connecting, sharing in the fun, and perhaps a few of them just starting to discover this band.
