On a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon at the unofficial Town Center of Seattle, Westlake Park, the city was gifted a fantastic open-air concert of three epic trios: Dinosaur Jr. with The Black Tones and Muñeca. The event was sponsored by HomeTeam and Downtown Seattle Alliance for Downtown Summer Sounds concert series.
This show was the first concert for The Black Tones following Eva Walker, vox and guitarist, welcoming little Hendrix to the world. The headliner, Dinosaur Jr., is currently on tour with Weezer and The Flaming Lips. This is my first time seeing local artists, Muñeca, and I highly recommend you check them out. Muñeca does have new single ‘Bambi’
I would like to think the bands, Hometeam, The Office of Economic Development, and Downtown Seattle Alliance for a fantastic event.
