Why we are writing this stuff

Hey! Thanks for tuning in. Here’s a quick run down on our beliefs and aims on why we are writing these posts.

TLDR; We know somethings, we don’t know some other things. We want to share what we know, and learn what we don’t know. This blog is one of the ways to get there.

We know a little, and we want to learn a lot
We have had the good fortune of being involved in building products for a few years now. In terms of Product Management, we are somewhere between Conscious Competence and Conscious Incompetence. We have learnt a lot, which we want to share. What we don’t know, we want to learn, by probing, asking and being extremely observant, all the time.

Questioning is the best way to learn
We generally ask a lot of questions, both to ourselves and others, to learn as much as we can. If you have an answer, or think you can point the community in the right direction, or have examples that would help, please do come forward and share them. The more questions and answers we have, the better our community will become, and the better products we will be able to make.

As with every product, this is an MVP
We will learn, evolve and grow the blog, and based on what we learn, we will explore other mediums as well. We know this won’t be perfect from Day 1, but then, that isn’t the point, is it?

Pritam Roy : I work as the only Product Manager at Vymo , an enterprise SAAS startup, recognized Internationally (By Garter, CB insight) for opening new medium to manage on ground sales force. Previously ran a product based HR tech startup FlatPi to solve the hiring misery. Started the career as a product manager of Disney Interactive, where I handled their major IP releases.
