Renault’s Fluence had most of the right ingredients for a car that was to be the manufacturer’s game changer in India. Well, it wasn’t thus desperate measures were called for and in comes the refreshed all new 2014 Fluence. Launched at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), Renault have managed to keep the price in check whilst offering a fresh new design that makes the car all the more desirable.

Renault has retained the classiness of the previous gen with some added dose of sportiness… and how. The front end now sports the modern Renault grille which incorporates a large badge in the centre and flows all the way to the headlamps. The front bumper is where extensive redesigning has been put to use and has resulted in a centre grille flanked by fog lamps and LED DRLs encased in a chrome shroud. The sleek headlamps remain and creases on the bonnet now offer motion to the front end design.

Only one diesel variant is available now with the tried and trusted 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine which is frugal with an ARAI claimed 20.4kmpl. Interior is now feature loaded with a Bluetooth enabled audio system complete with 3D surround sound tech by Arkamys among others.
