The luxury car market has seen remarkable growth in the past couple of years and manufacturers are already ahead of the 10,000 unit sales mark. A close battle between the German Trio (Audi, BMW, Mercedes) is something the industry is eagerly watching out for. Audi is the current numero uno in terms of sales and cannot afford to lose its supremacy. And that is why they have inaugurated the Audi Technical Service Centre for India, in Mumbai.

Ingurated by Ulli Seyfferth, Head of Technical Service, AUDI AG, the technical centre will work with the workshop and training facility in line with AUDI AG standards. Ulli Seyfferth explained how the Technical centre will benefit the German manufacturer’s Indian line-up. The centre is to obtain deeper insight into usage patterns of Audi cars and other local peculiarities such as customer preferences. These learnings are important for Audi to adapt their products to suit market requirements.

“The Audi Technical Service Centre will support technicians and service advisors from across the dealerships in India, as well as continuously cultivate their competence level to execute quality jobs and delight our customers,” said Ulli Seyfferth.

The Technical Service Centre is equipped with three climate control work bays. The analysis workshop is equipped with equipment for diagnosis and in-depth analysis of product concerns. The centre will also house a training facility, which will conduct boot camps for the technical team as well as for the dealer network.
