Audi Q3 Dynamic launched at Rs 38.4 lakh
Audi’s compact SUV, the Q3, has been responsible for a sizable part of the German manufacturer’s sales which has prompted the auto maker to launch a new top-of-the-line trim, the Q3 Dynamic, priced at 38.4 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. Including the Dynamic, the Q3 comes in four trims- the base Q3S, Q3 Premium and Premium+, starting at Rs 25.49 lakh.
This top-spec trim gets a little more than the Premium+ variant with features like Audi Drive Select, Audi’s quattro four-wheel drive system, Auto Release function, Hill start assist, Cruise control, a dual zone air conditioning system, and a new suspension set-up. Enhancing the safety and convinience are 6 airbags, ESP, Parking Aid Plus, and a light and rain sensor.
Exterior changes include new 17-inch alloys, Xenon headlamps with LED DRLs, clear lens LED tail lamps, an off-road style package, a panoramic sunroof, and three new colour options- ‘florett silver’, ‘mythos black’, and ‘monsoon grey ‘.
On the inside, the Q3 Dynamic sports the same look but is covered with more premium leather and a walnut inlayed dashboard. The sound system comes with 10 speakers including a subwoofer, 5.8-inch retractable MMI screen, voice recognition and Bluetooth streaming.
The same 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 177bhp and 380Nm of peak torque, mated to an automatic transmission is on offer. Expect 0–100kmph times and fuel efficiency to reduce slightly due to the added weight.
At the launch Joe King, Audi India head, said, “The Audi Q3 Dynamic with Audi Drive Select is yet another example of our customer centric approach. We have further fine-tuned the suspension to meet Indian road conditions and offer the right balance between ride and comfort. With this new top of the line Audi Q3, we are further enhancing the appeal of one of the most successful SUVs in the Indian market. We are convinced that the Audi Q3 Dynamic will be a similar runaway success as the Audi Q3 in 2012 and will play a key role in our growth this year.”
