Audi unveils 2015 A7 & S7 Sportback

Audi has released pictures of the 2015 A7 Sportback and S7 Sportback with an array of subtle visual changes and a range of new engines. The new A7 features design cues from the latest generation of Audi vehicles with sharp headlamp design and trapezoidal grill with horizontal slats incorporated in the front bumper. The LED headlamp technology comes as standard now and Audi supplies their ingenious Matrix LED headlights as an option. The interior has been spruced up with Valcona leather finish while the interior colour palette has been redesigned now offer five color options, even for the seats. The front seats are optionally equipped with ventilation and massage functions. The Audi MMI interface comes standard across the range while a head‑up display that projects information on to the windshield can be added as an optional extra.

2015 Audi A7

The new Audi A7 comes in two petrol and three diesel engine options and power ranges from 215bhp to 328bhp. All engines are compliant to stringent Euro 6 emission norms. It will feature the new 3.0 TDI engine that Audi presented at the Vienna Motor Symposium. This 3-litre V6 will churn out 268bhp in its highest state of tune. In all probability, Audi India will bring this 3.0 TDI engine when they update the A7 here. The current 3.0 TDI twin-turbo engine which develops 316bhp of power is mated to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission while all the other engine configurations will sport seven-speed S tronic transmission. The top-of-the-line 4.0TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine comes with 444bhp of power and will feature in the slightly sportier S7 Sportback.
