Bentley building a Porsche 911 rival? Sounds a little off but if they can pull it off, they’ll do it in style. Case in point, is the EXP10 Speed 6 concept that debuted at the 85th Geneva Motor Show. It sure looks the part of a sporty speedster, rather than the benign beast thing that other Bentley’s are.

Besides being smaller and more compact than the Continental GT, the rear end of the Speed 6 sports a sleek and simple design, with quad exhausts and a single set of lights. The headlights definitely see a continuation of design used on the Continental, though in a simpler theme.

The cabin is pure British ultra luxury fare, a little more dynamic and contemporary may be. A large, vertical touchscreen sits in the narrow centre console, while the driver will have two large dials — one virtual, flowing into a central display in the instrument cluser, and the tachometer, which features a chronograph-style flourish. Several controls feature Bentley’s familiar knurled metal finish, while leather, aluminium and cherry wood are used throughout the cabin’s construction. Behind each seat is an individual luggage compartment fitted, in the concept, with a purpose-designed four-piece luggage set.

No information about the concept’s engine or powertrain have been revealed, but the Speed 6 moniker could hint at at V6. The number 6 can be seen on a number of places on the concept, particularly notable in its meshed grille. They’ve gone and done something clever with that too, using 3D geometry techniques that make the number visible only when the car is viewed from a specific angle.
