The interior now gets silver accents on the dashboard and door trims, steering-mounted audio controls and height-adjustable driver seat, which will help short drivers especially with the high-mounted dash. High-end variants have dual air bags, ABS and EBD.

The engines see no changes and the Beat comes with the option of a four-cylinder 1199cc 79bhp petrol engine with an LPG option, and a three-cylinder 936cc 58bhp diesel engine. All these engines are quite frugal managing and ARAI rating of 25.44kmpl for the diesel engine, 18.6kmpl for the petrol engine and 13.3kmpl for the LPG kitted engine.

The Beat will come in 10 variants with prices starting at Rs 4.06 lakh going up to Rs 6.1 lakh for the top-specced model (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
