Dodge have confirmed that the first unit of the 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat from the Brampton, Ontario assembly line, will make its way to Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas 2014 auction which will be held on September 25–27. The one-off and most powerful car bearing the Challenger name, will be auctioned and the proceeds will go to the Opportunity Village organization, a not-for-profit organization which also operates in Las Vegas, helping people with mental disabilities.

Not only will it be the first Hellcat to roll off the production line, the car will be draped in exclusive Stryker Red paint which is normally reserved for the Viper. The Hellcat sports a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 engine and will also bear a 0001 vehicle identification number (VIN0001). The American muscle car also boasts of a brutal 707bhp of power and a massive 880Nm of torque from the V8, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels. This Hellcat will also get special Hellcat badging and specific VIN documentation.

The icing on the cake for the Hellcat selling at the auction, will be a presentation box including a VIN0001 electronic vehicle build book and video documentary, still shots, vehicle footage, a signature Laguna leather iPad sleeve, a signed SRT Hellcat lithograph and a special birth certificate for VIN0001.

Speaking on the one-off exclusive Hellcat, Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge and SRT Brands, Chrysler Group LLC. said, “The 2015 Challenger Hellcat is already guaranteed to be one of the hottest cars that will roll through the Barrett-Jackson auction lanes in decades to come. The VIN0001 being auctioned this year is the ultimate one-of-one collectible 2015 Dodge Challenger, as Dodge is ensuring there will never be another one like it.”
