Harley-Davidson Street 750 launched, priced at Rs 4.10 lakh!
Hard Rock, worn-out denims, leather jackets and badass bikes — they were all there at the Harley-Davidson stall at the expo but the Street 750 took centre stage. Made in India, for India the Street 750 was present there in a few iterations highlighting the bike’s modding potential. From bobbers to brat style to ones with saddlebags, they showcased it all. The Street 750 comes from the house of Dark Custom hence the blacked out sinister styling on the stock bike which looks fairly attractive in itself. Dark Custom will also supply accessories to customise the Street 750 to individual preferences. The Street 750 features a new Revolution X engine pumping out 65Nm of peak torque from its liquid-cooled V-twin motor. The engine has been designed to cope with the demands of urban riding and thus employs liquid-cooling, the biggest drawback of other Harley engines.
“We believe the new Street 750 will excite a new segment of urban riders who will appreciate the attention to detail and opportunity to experience the Harley-Davidson lifestyle at an accessible price point” said Anoop Mathur, MD, Harley-Davidson India. And they did cause quite a few jaws to drop with the price of Rs 4.10 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The pricing alone will attract a lot of prospective Harlistas conforming to H-D’s target audience of a younger customer base who want to use the bike every day.
